As a teacher, I need to remember that I need to have the links on the computer desktop so that children can eventually access the website independently. I also need to remember to have the computer screen visible to the classroom to be able to make sure the preschoolers don't get to a location they should not be.
For the children, here is what will be posted in the room. While I would prefer that the children draw pictures for each of the rules, I drew pictures for this exercise.
CLASSROOM COMPUTER RULES
Ask teacher to start.

3 people at the computer at once.
Ask 2 friends for help.

Turn off and tell teacher when done.

ReplyDeleteThe pictures are perfect for what your children will need. Will they ever have the opportunity to "click" on a link? If so, you should put something in there like: "Only click on one link then you must go back to where you started (highlight the back button)".
ReplyDeleteLOVE THE VISUALS!!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are such a great way to present the information for your kids. Very creative and such a great idea! Too often (I am guilty) I put information out for my kids that is sometimes too hard for them to understand. So nice job really understanding your audience!
ReplyDeletepictures are a great idea - reminds me what it's like to teach young kids!
